
If a dog is unhappy he has a half a dozen way of letting us know, including whining. Grimley, who you will meet on the next page is a great example of this strategy and although his parents may say he’s merely excited about the car trip we have to think there is more to it than that.
For one thing, if there was someone else in back with Grim we doubt he’d be crying – so he may just be lonely!
Or wait, did he eat a big meal before being strapped in? Perhaps he has a belly ache or – oh dear! – maybe he needs to do his business but does not know how to tell his masters other than whining!
It is a conundrum but this little guy is so cute we don’t mind listening. Maybe, somewhere along the line, in the video on the next page, he will give us some clues and we’ll be able to figure it out for ourselves!

Pugs are so attention starved if left out of a lap for longer than 2minutes without food to distract them this happens lol
