Many owners don't think when they buy a smaller dog that they're actually investing in an excellent guard dog, and to others who may come across your properly — sometimes the smaller the dog, the scarier he may appear! Small dogs have no problems being a guard dog with those scary barks and intimidating stares! LOL!
When it comes to a guarding “the palace” many are called on but few are chosen! Take a look at this tan beauty, ready for action, and you be the judge!
While we have to congratulate the main Pug, the guy in the middle, for doing his puggy duty and receiving his reward, we also have to feel a certain amount of sympathy for his brothers. What’s with him getting the treat they, waiting alertly, get nothing?
Their time will come as it does to all good guard dogs! At least, we hope so!

Pugs are the best. We have five fawns and one black. They make me happy every minute of every day.

Their food has become a part of our grocery budget. They’re like our kids……sweet babies.
