(VIDEO) These Pugs Know What it Means to be Guard Dogs. When One of Them Does THIS On Command? Bravo!

Guard Pugs

Any dog owner can tell you that training a puppy takes a certain amount of patience, trust and dog treats. Eventually, it will all click into place but it may take a while with certain breeds.

Now, being a home’s guard dog presents both owner and dog with a number of situations, some problematic, where it is quite possible an alert needs to be called. In other words, a dog’s bark is all important.

This can go two ways. The dog simply will not bark or, worse, the dog likes his bark and refuses to stop! You can hardly call your best friend a good guard dog when he barks at a leaf blowing across the lawn!

Then there is the dog on the next page who manages to be cute, responsible, ambitious and he really pays attention. Looks like a brother and sister have popped in as well, perhaps hoping to follow in his glory. But those are big paws to fill!

Watch the video on the next page to see how seriously this pooch takes his guard dog duties and what his owner trained him to do!
