When a Mom gets pregnant, it's an exciting time. She gets to enjoy being pregnant, picking out baby clothes, and getting ready for the birth of her child.
Depending on whether the mom-to-be and her hubby choose to find out if they're having a boy or a girl, they also get to decorate their baby's nursery and plan for the baby shower!
If a family has a fur baby who is going to be a big brother, then you may notice some changes in him as well. He may act more protective of his mom by guarding her belly and not allowing anyone to come near the growing belly, including the dad!
It's a hilarious site if you've witnessed or experienced this first hand. The pup just wants to protect the growing baby within!

My dog knew I was pregnant before I was …. Scooby my gigantic pitbull (such a lovie) would stand in front of me and sniff my belly (his head came up to my stomach, yes Im only 5’3″ lol) and I was like what the heck are you doing ??!! Yup, he knew : )
