Brushing your pooch's teeth does not come easy unless you started brushing your pup's teeth when she was a puppy. If you recently adopted a pug she may not have had her teeth cleaned before, so as you start this new habit go slowly. At first she may be very against you putting a toothbrush in her mouth and if this is the case get her used to toothpaste on your finger and use your fingers to gently “brush” her teeth. Slowly but surely she should get used to her teeth brushed, and you can eventually transition to a toothbrush.

For a pug, that's used to getting her teeth brushed it can be quite comical. Once you find toothpaste your pug likes you better watch out — she may be more interested in the toothpaste then getting her teeth brushed!

That's certainly the case for little Sophie, the pug. When it's time for her mom to brush her teeth, Sophie understands the drill, but she's focused on only one thing: the toothpaste!
