Just like humans are curious when we get a new gadget like an iPhone, dogs are curious when they encounter something new too. Except their excitement and curiosity comes from encountering new toys and objects they've never seen before whereas we know all about the item we're discovering.

Just what is that hat on the floor? And what is that umbrella? Let me smell it to see…that's at least what I imagine are some of the thoughts a dog experiences every time he encounters new objects and smells. He also must be so puzzled yet enthralled with the new object, and it must be inspected to figure out exactly what it is!

In today's video, a Pug encounters a swimming bath toy on the floor, and he's not sure what to think of it! He's not sure if the toy is going to attack him, though, so he prepares for battle.
