Owning a dog is a lot of work. Every day you have to feed your furry friend, take them for a walk, make sure they're bathed every few weeks, take them to the vet, and more.

It's a lot of responsibility even though your best friend is worth it! Plus, depending on the breed, smaller dogs can be higher maintenance just because they can become needy and don't like to be left alone.
