If you just got a puppy and aren't sure where to start first with their training, don't fear! Through trial and error, you will become an excellent owner who trains your pup the house rules she needs to know.

The basics are potty training, not allowing her to chew on everything, asking her to not sit on the couch (if that's what you decide on), and how to sit.

Socialization is also important, but all of these things will come in time.

But what are the two CRITICAL things we alluded to above? Surprsingly, they can be overlooked by new pet parents. But they're a MUST when developing your pooch and teaching them your house rules.
