It's normal to be grumpy sometimes when you get old. After all, you may be experiencing aches and pains that no one likes to experience. And if your doggy is growing old she too may get grumpy by occasionally retreating into a different room, growling more often, and exhibiting other signs of old age.

But what if your pooch suddenly becomes possessive and snaps at you or your family members? As she grows older she may gradually not want to share her toys or may act like she's in charge a little too much. If she's only doing this once in a while that's normal, but if it becomes excessive that's when you should step in.
