Does Your Dog Know How To "U Turn"? Teach Them This Important Skill

With all of the things we teach our dog, making a U Turn is probably not at the top of our list. That's too bad because it’s a fairly simple command for your pup to learn and when put to use, it's extremely beneficial.

Take a moment and think. How often have you been out walking “Rover” when he became overly excited by something he saw? During that excitement, he nearly tripped you or got you tangled up on his leash?

You might feel as though this can't happen to you, but trust us. This scenario above occurs more often than you might imagine. It has been said that most professional obedience trainers find the U Turn skill invaluable and that it should be a part of a every dog owner’s cache of lessons taught.
