You remember what it was like when you were a child? Mom and Dad take off on date night, leaving you behind, and all you can think about is not just the abandonment but what fun they must be having without you!
Sure, there is the babysitter, and she does the best she can, talking with you and trying to make you feel better. But it’s just not the same thing!
