Training your dog is no easy task, and it's easy to confuse your pup during the process if you don't do it the right way from the get-go. Instead of adding confusion by contradicting yourself early on, stick with certain words, rules, and ways to praise your pet early on so later there will be no questions. There may be things that you're doing right now that are confusing your pet, however, it's never too late to retrain them.

Keep in mind there are a lot of dos and don't's to consider when you're initially training your pet, but after you read over the best-known tips it's best to follow your gut and do what you feel is best.
