Watch this comical video featuring Lizzy, a beautiful Corgy puppy who has a one track mind. We mean, really one track when it comes to the tricks she’s been taught.
While lovely to look at, and fun-loving for sure, Lizzy seems to hear only one word when it comes to entertaining those who watch her talents!
Still, Lizzy is a mere puppy and has time to learn more – if she wants to. And, if that crafty smile is any indication, she is currently perfectly happy with what she knows … or doesn’t know.
She might not be the best trained puppy but she is certainly engaging!
Training days have gone better than this but we have to give Lizzy credit. She did learn something. If only she didn’t have it in her head that all commands are for the same trick!
We have to say with a face that precious and precocious, we can forgive Lizzy anything!
Training a puppy isn’t always easy and we’ll give trainer and trainee points for making Lizzy’s session fun! Give her time and this smart Corgy will be sitting, lying down, shaking paws and any number of things with the best of dogs!

You need to do a little more than just call out commands. It’s obvious the dog doesn’t know what it should be doing. Corgis are smart and pick up things easily but you have to train them.

All you have to do is train them using hand signals. Say whatever command you want and do the hand signal behind the camera and voila

The dog is responding to the “Ummmmm” that she says before each trick.

My pug’s a spinner. She only spins to her right and ONLY for her dinner or when she’s super excited. We have yet to be able to train her to do it on command. It’s like a nervous excitement tic for her.
