Here is a very short video with a comical and somehow sad life lesson in it. Not just for the pug but for a small child who finds himself shocked and terrified by what Bentley has done! How would you respond if your Pug behaved in such a fashion?!
Oh dear … Bentley is just taking the butterfly for a ride. That’s it, right?
Well, he is a dog after all. Is it bad for us to say: “As least it wasn’t a colorful Monarch?” Probably but we do have to remember that Bentley is a canine carnivore and what they sniff and pick up with their mouths are generally theirs to do with what they want.
Sadly, we think the poor kid in this video learned a valuable lesson – and we gotta chuckle out of it.

You should see my pug when she goes after a bee or wasp. Not knowing it could sting her. I pick her up right away and bring her inside lol
