  1. Adorable doesn’t equal responsible. A Poxer? Does anyone else see the dangers in this? I think greed has replaced common sense IMO. There’s plenty of mixed breeds at the shelters. Designer? No. Mutts.

  2. All of these made up stupid names are just a fancy way of saying “mutt.” Dogs are family, and investments for many years. This article referring to mutts as “designer” dogs is disgusting. As someone said above, plenty of crossbreed dogs stuck in shelters because they were only chic for a short time. Adopt and save a life.

  3. I have a chug (chihuahua/pug), named Xena, who we rescued when she was 9 weeks old! Her mom was rescued from a pound and then gave birth to her and Xena’s brothers 🙂 not all “designer mixes” are from puppy mills. Some are happy accidents ☺️
