Now, for the moment you’ve been waiting for… Just how old IS April the pug? Hear it below from her owner:

April Pug had a wonderful birthday yesterday as we celebrated the huge milestone of reaching 17 years old. It is amazing to think that when I got her at the age of 10. I never thought I’d be able to celebrate so many amazing years with this precious pug. I am so happy that I have had so many wonderful birthdays to celebrate with April Pug and hope for many, many more to come!

April Pug started out her birthday just like any other, sleeping in and getting beauty rest for most of the day. I mean come on, turning 17 years is a big deal and she wanted to be in tip-top shape for her photo shoot.

Her owner went on to explain that the humans opened each birthday card and read them to this pug! Why all the hoopla, you might ask? A pooch only turns seventeen-years-old once! If you would like to learn more about April Pug and her day go to April Pug.
